Men's Ministry

We have a very active Methodist Men's group at Nashville UMC. The men meet each month on the second Sunday at 7:30 a.m. for a breakfast and meeting. During this meeting they plan activities such as their Annual Pork Chop Dinner and Valentines Banquet. Methodist Men use funding to support various ministries within our church and community.

The older men in the group also meet each Tuesday morning at 8:30 a.m. in the bus garage for a Bible study and fellowship. We also have a team that plays softball in the fall and spring. You can call our church office at the number below for more information on Methodist Men and to learn how you can become involved.

Men's Ministry
Women's Ministries

The women at Nashville UMC work together to create opportunities for spiritual and emotional growth in Christ. Laity are encouraged to lead Bible studies and other activities to foster unity within our congregation.

Our women are very involved in NUMC's strong and active children's programs. Whether it be helping with a Bible Study, Sunday School, arts & crafts, meals or decorating for our many activities -- you can always find a place to use your gifts and graces.

Senior Adult Ministry

Our church is very fortunate to have an organization for our senior adults...S.A.M. They meet on the 3rd Tuesday of each month from September - May at 12:00pm for lunch. Each luncheon gives us time to reconnect with friends, eat together, have a devotion, plan activities for the year, and have an interesting program.

For some meetings the members bring a sandwich; dessert and drinks are provided. During other meetings, a meal is provided for a nominal fee. At all times, it is a relaxing and interesting time scaled to the needs of seniors. Many in our group are from neighboring churches, so bring a friend and join us!

The "Road Runners" plan special trips to concerts, cultural events and restaurants throughout the year. For more information about upcoming events, contact Victoria Frazier at kvcfrazier@gmail.com.

Small Group

By joining a small group, you’ll be with a group of people who have a vested interest in wanting to see you develop your love for Christ as well as people who need your support in the same manner.

The close settings allow for more intimate conversations, confidentiality, and a feeling
of “family” as we are all brothers and sisters in Christ.

Join one of the groups below. We’re adding groups to this new ministry often, so call the Church Office @ 459-7178 for the latest meeting schedules.

Women's Fellowship A fellowship of women studying the Scriptures, the nature of God, and how we as image bearers are to live. This group will start meeting in mid-September 2021 at 12pm in Cockrell Hall.

Prayer Gathering A time to give and receive prayer personally and for the church. This group is meeting on Tuesdays at 6:30pm in the Sanctuary.

Sunday School classes are a great way to build lasting friendships with other Christians, while exploring and learning strong Biblical teachings. At Nashville UMC, we offer a variety of classes. In these classes we learn and practice the teachings of the Bible; to love one another, encourage one another, pray for one another, accept one another, bear one another's burdens, and build up one another.

By attending a Sunday Morning Group with others of similar needs and interests, you will feel free to join in discussions of weekly Bible topics and share insights. You will also learn from others who have had similar triumphs and struggles that can be lifted up through prayer and support from your small group.

Sunday School meets weekly at 10:00. Most groups at NUMC aren't divided by age, so you may'fit in several different classes, We encourage guests to visit one or more classes. With the variety of classes offered, we are sure God will lead you to a class where you will feel loved and will help you to grow in your walk with Jesus.
