Forts of Faith
What is the purpose of home? Place to sleep? Place to eat? Place for your stuff? We’d probably say yes to all those. In 2020 the purpose of home has been redefined and expanded a bit. A home is a restaurant, office, gym, child care center, and more. Home has been redefined for many families.
One of the purposes of home is a purpose that we can’t let slip through the cracks, it’s the purpose of being ground zero for making disciples. Even before 2020, Scripture has been clear that home is ground zero for making disciples (Deuteronomy 6:7).
Now it’s one thing to know we are supposed to do that, it’s another thing to know how to do that. Well that’s what the church is for, to lead, educate, come along beside parents and guardians and how we turn our homes into forts of faith where disciples of all ages are made.
